Claude Haiku 5.5 replaces Haiku 4.5 as a fast, affordable Claude model. It is smarter than its predecessor and, according to the update, about ten times cheaper per token. It has a context window of 1 million tokens and supports image input, reasoning and tools such as web search. This makes it a good option for tasks such as answering quick questions about public communications or processing large amounts of information.
Mistral Large 4 replaces Large 3 as the flagship model for European AI. It reasons before answering. In the desktop chat, you can choose between Low and High reasoning for Mistral. Its reasoning steps appear in the Model is thinking panel. This lets you allow more room for reasoning when tackling a more complex policy question, for example.
If you had Haiku 4.5 or Large 3 saved as your model choice, it will automatically switch to the new model. You don’t need to change anything yourself.
Creating documents with European AI is now also handled by the document server running Mistral Large 4.
Choose the model that suits your task: Haiku 5.5 for fast assistance, and Mistral Large 4 when you want to use the European flagship model.
