A calmer home screen

Get started faster and find things more easily in AI-Public

The AI-Public home screen has been updated. The prompt field now gets more attention, so you can get started right away with a question or task. Navigation is on the left. For example, you can go from a chat to assistants, files or transcription.

Looking for an earlier conversation? Open Search and actions and type a few words from its title. In the desktop app, you can also press Ctrl+K on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+K on a Mac. You can also use the same search window to open actions, such as starting a new chat.

The home screen also gives you access to available options to help you get started, for example with a document or an assistant. What you see depends on your access and how your environment is set up. This helps you get straight to work on public information, a policy document or internal knowledge sharing.

Using the desktop app and prefer your navigation at the top? Collapse the sidebar. The navigation will appear in the top bar.

Open the updated home screen and try Search and actions when you need to find an earlier conversation.
