Command palette and keyboard shortcuts

The command palette

Press Cmd+K (macOS) or Ctrl+K (Windows and Linux), or click the magnifier button (Search and actions) in the toolbar, to open the Command palette. In the desktop application this button is at the bottom of the sidebar, or in the top bar when the sidebar is collapsed.

  • Type a few letters to find an earlier chat by title or workspace folder.
  • Use the arrow keys to choose a result and open it with Enter.
  • Under Actions you find, among others, New chat, Open history, Open settings and, in the desktop application, Choose default workspace folder. In a chat you also find Show changes, Show commands and Show progress here.
  • Esc closes the palette.
